Seeking positive, motivated and energetic Medical Assistant for our established optometry practice! A pleasant personality with a strong work ethic, ability to work as part of a team, and excellent customer service skills. We have proudly served the Cypress area for over 15 years and are committed to providing our patients with exceptional eye health care.

Primary Responsibilities:
-History taking
-Visual acuity measurement
-Refractometry (measurements for the glasses prescription)
-Tonometry (measure eye pressure)
-Test and measure eye muscle function
-Visual field testing
-Corneal thickness measurement
-Corneal curvature measurement
-Corneal topography
-Retinal nerve fiber layer measurement
-Retinal thickness and topography
-Assist with contact lens fitting, and patient instruction

Secondary Responsibilities:
Prepare for and assist with in-office procedures which include welcoming our patients/guests, answering phones, appointment scheduling, checking in/out patients and authorizing insurances.
